THAXTED CRICKET CLUB



Thaxted Cricket Club is situated in the picturesque town of Thaxted close to Saffron Walden in Essex. The ground is surrounded by houses on the village green on the Bardfield Road. The Club has 2 adult sides. The Saturday side were promoted to the Herts & Essex League Division 2 for 2018. The Sunday side plays friendlies throughout the season. The Club has a thriving youth section starting from Kwik Cricket up to Under 15's.  If you have recently moved to the area, or looking for a local club to join, please come along and have a drink and meet us.  A fuller history of the club can be found under the " History" section of the website. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Senior players required for the 2019 season

We are looking to recruit senior players for the upcoming 2019 season.  If you are looking to start playing again or looking for a change of club, please contact us. 

We play league cricket on a Saturday in Division 2 of the Herts & Essex league having won promotion last season, and have a full fixture list of friendlies on a Sunday

We are a β€œfriendly bunch” who enjoy our cricket but also enjoy the social side of the game!

Even if you don’t want to commit to every weekend, we would love to hear from you
