Welcome to the Thaxted Cricket Club.
Thaxted Cricket Club is in the heart of Essex, south of Saffron Walden. We are a typical village cricket club and play on a green surrounded by old cottages. The club has been around for over 100 years and we are still going strong.

Thaxted Cricket runs Junior Cricket on Wednesday nights catering for children from 8 to 16 years. The under 15 side currently play in the the Bardfield League and the Under 13's play friendlies.
In addition to the juniors we play both Saturday and Sunday games. The Saturday team plays in the Herts & Essex league. The Sunday team plays friendly games against other clubs around Essex. When availability allows, we play additional games on either day throughout the season.
Year on year Thaxted Cricket Club is growing and gaining more players and our reputation is getting better.
